Why Cascade Conference?

The name reflects the natural connection between our Seattle and Portland regional groups, just as the Cascade Mountain Range links the two cities. This joint meeting celebrates our shared goals and regional unity.

We’re excited to bring our communities together right here in the Pacific Northwest. Stay tuned over the coming weeks for more details.

Keynote Speaker

We’re excited to announce that Super Bowl Champion Jon Ryan will be the keynote speaker at the Cascade Conference!

Get ready for an inspiring keynote from someone who understands what it takes to succeed when the stakes are highest.

From winning Super Bowl XLVIII with the Seattle Seahawks to building successful ventures in business, media and entrepreneurship, Jon knows what it takes to lead, adapt and perform under pressure.

We can’t wait to hear the stories and experiences that stem from his 19-year professional football career, and the lessons he’s carried into life after the game—covering leadership, resilience, teamwork, reinvention and thriving through change.

Giving Back

We've got big plans to give back at the Cascade Conference, and we need your help!

This year, we’re proud to support Backpack Brigade , a Washington nonprofit working to help end weekend hunger for children. Their mission is to provide nutritious, kid-friendly food to students who may not have reliable access to meals over the weekend, helping ensure kids have something to eat from Friday through Monday.

We’re asking Cascade Conference attendees to bring a donation for Backpack Brigade. They have specifically requested these items as they find they are the hardest to find in bulk. Links to order via Amazon are below.

And if you don't have time to go to the store, a monetary donation is also welcome! Every contribution helps Backpack Brigade get food into the hands of kids who need it.

But wait, there's more!

Also in true PNW fashion, this is a competition! Both regionals will be competing to see who can bring the most food/monetary donations for Backpack Brigade. What's on the line? Bragging rights and a pie in the face for one regional President. IYKYK!

What to Know Before You Go
Dress Code

We're going casual for the Welcome Reception on Monday night, and business casual for the main conference on Tuesday. The weather is looking fabulous, and we want you to wear what makes you most comfortable!

IMPORTANT!

Two important PSAs if you are coming in from out of town:

Driving from SeaTac: The drive from SeaTac to The SOMM can be between 45–60 minutes depending on traffic. Plan accordingly!
Traveling by train from Portland: Portland's Union Station is closed indefinitely due to a recent warehouse fire, and many trains have been cancelled. Read their full alert here , and check your Amtrak notifications for updates.
